Confident that your HR documents & practices are legally compliant and protecting your interests as an employer?
Employment legislation and HR best practice is constantly changing which makes it really difficult for employers to keep on top of a function that in reality should be just as important to a company with five employees as to one with hundreds.
Whilst it’s easy to call for help when it’s needed or sadly as we know only too well from experience, when it’s almost too late, more often than not problems arise either from employers just not understanding their obligations or more importantly not being aware of certain aspects of employment law.
We can put your mind at rest with an HR Health check of your systems, policies, documents and practices.
With no strings attached, we’re happy to visit any local business and check whether your HR function is being correctly and effectively operated or if you are putting yourself at risk of making some very big mistakes which could easily develop into hugely expensive employment tribunal claims.
Our HR Health Check identifies the HR systems, policies and procedures a business currently has in place and measures the level of compliance with employment legislation and best practice. Any areas that are non-compliant or need improvement, will be highlighted in a free report so helping to minimise the risk of legal action in relation to any unidentified HR or employment issues.
The HR Health Check takes approximately 2 hours. Ordinarily, we’ll look at contracts, handbooks, and policies and procedures relating to areas such as recruitment and selection, statutory employment rights, discipline and dismissal, and working conditions. Confidentiality is assured and we are happy to review templates as opposed to employee specific documents. We’ll also need to talk with whoever holds responsibility for the HR function as part of the HR Health Check.
Alternatively, if you’d like us to just review your organisation’s Employee Handbook and/or employment contracts we’re happy to do this for free too!
